Denbighshire / Llanrwst estate
« on: Monday 26 May 14 17:29 BST (UK)  »
A strange shot in the dark.
Has anyone who has gone through llanrwst records seen anything to do with this.
In our Family history we had a ancestor claim an estate in or around Llanrwst, now i would dismiss it as a tall story but my father saw the deeds when he was young this is how the story goes,
Around 1850 a James Morris claimed and lived on a estate somewhere in or near Llanrwst, after a period of time he was challanged in court as he had claimed it down a female side and returned to Chester,he was a broken man and even tho a solicitor wanted to challenge it he gave up and according to tale the estate was put in trust for 100yr,obviously that period is well up but we would all like to verify the story and find out what our link to Llanrwst was.
So if anybody has come across any knowledge of this please let me know,

Family Bibles / Morris Family Bible Chester
« on: Sunday 25 May 14 07:59 BST (UK)  »
Hi
I have been searching for our family bible for years,It has the answers to our tree that i cant find so it means so much to me just to get the information it contains if i cant purchase the bible.
It was last seen by my Father around 1960s at a Auntie in Chester since then it has vanished.
As i said the family tree enclosed is important but i would purchase it if it was for sale to safeguard its future.
Any information would be great
