Hi.  Wondered if anyone can help to track down info on the above.  I've looked at the info on this site and can't find a connection.

According to the 1939 Register, James was born in 1893.  This date fits with his age at death too (1959) aged 66

A daughter says he was born in Annan but knows little else about him as she was very young when he died.  She believes he was married twice and married her mother in 1938 in Barton.

Any info would be very welcome.   :)

Is it possible for anyone to do a 1911 look up please...

Having difficulties getting started with this family... 

Annie Clegg was born 1913 in Rochdale.  Mother's maiden name Cleary. 

I'm hoping perhaps the address will hold some clues... and perhaps show other relatives/siblings.

Mother may be Mary.  Father Walter or Wilfred.

Annie lived in several places, Primrose Street, Spotland Bridge, Cinamon Street, Molyneaux Street.

I'm trying to help my aunt but she really doesn't know a lot about her mother's family.  May be a Greenwood link!!!!

Hope this isn't too vague.

This time for Constance Hamer. 

Constance was born in 1887 in Rochdale.  Her parents were Rosehannah (I've seen it spelt several different ways) and Alfred Hamer.

Wondered if I could have a lookup for Alfred Backhouse born 1884 in Rochdale.  Looking for parents and silings if poss please.

He married in 1907 to Constance Hamer and they had several children.

I'm afraid that's all I know about him, so any input would be really helpful.

I've asked for this before but no luck so far:

According to census records - William Kelsall was born in Rochdale 1830. I have census records for 1861-1901 which all confirm this. Although the 1881 record is spelt wrong ie Kelsale.

His marriage cert in 1853 - St Chads Rochdale - says his father is Henry - a spinner. Address at marriage 23 Mount Pleasant - not sure if that's Rochdale or Middleton.

I have been unable - to-date - to find a birth record for a William in Rochdale for 1830 - father Henry and am hoping either the 1841 or 1851 record may produce other clues.

My uncle would love to find the death register/burial place for his twin sister.  We are led to believe that she died 9 or 10 days after birth but have been unable to verify this.

They were born in 1937 - April (June qtr):

Is is possible to look up the following marriage please:

Thomas Bye to Elizabeth Maynard December 1878.

I'm afraid I don't have church details/registrar details at the mo but I'm working on it(!)(!)(!)

Thomas was born 1855-1857 and Elizabeth 1860... as far as I am aware.

If you need any information that I haven't given, please let me know. 

I'm hoping relatives were witnesses in order that I can pinpoint a family group in 1891...
