Hi,
Can anyone find the missing link here ???

http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/a2a/records.aspx?cat=166-484&cid=7-14-1-1&kw=Shropshire%20Archives#7-14-1-1

.....NOT my Joseph and Mary Venables who appear at this address in 1841 :(

My Joseph was a farmer and died in 1842, (have will and gravestone photo). The family in the link are well documented, but I cannot make any connection.

Any help appreciated

Helen

Caernarvonshire / Jason, Aberdaron area
« on: Wednesday 28 April 10 15:30 BST (UK)  »
Hi all,

I'm trying to find the family of Robert Jason, christened 1819 at Aberdaron Parish church, parents Robert Jason & Jane.  I believe there were three siblings; Jane (1810), Mary(1812) & Jason(1813).

I have all the censuses, marriage, death etc for Robert.........now looking for the rest of the family, in particular Robert Jason(senior) & Jane's marriage.

On the censuses Robert Jason(junior), gives his birth place as Penycaerau, Rhydlios, Pwllheli & Aberdaron.........guess he couldnt remember ;D  Also, one census has him as a "Jasson", so I was thinking they may have pronounced Jason as in Welsh Jasson ???

Married, "with consent of friends"?

Would this assume that parents were dead, (marriage in 1816)??

Trying to find anything about the birth and death of my Morgan Roberts ???

So far, I have....... his marriage to Jennet/Jonnet Jones, 6th Feb 1816 at Llandecwyn, (witnesess Edmund Roberts & Owen Jones)

.....his wifes gravestone,  (Jennet, wife of Morgan Roberts, died 31st Jan 1831)

His name crops up once more on my GGG Grandfathers christening entry (John Roberts, 9th August 1818) at Llanfihangel Y Traethau

.........and that's all I can find:-\  As if he disappears from all records prior and after!
Any help appreciated.

Wales / Dyfnallt
« on: Tuesday 29 September 09 16:16 BST (UK)  »
I have an old "album", once owned by my Great Grandmother, then handed down to my Grandmother, (autograph/notes album rather than photo!)

......anyway,  Christmas 1898 , I have a few poems written...bottom of the page signed "Dyfnallt", Trawsfynydd. Nadolig 1898

Another poem written to mark my Grandmother's birth, (signed Dyfnallt. Rhag 18th 1903)

Would this be the "Dyfnallt" as in welsh poet, who was an Eisteddfod baird?...or was there another?  I have asked the eldest member of my family about the name only, and she said he was a preacher/vicar.....which seems to fit in!?

(No relation btw, just interested re the poem he wrote for my Grandmother ;D)
