Thanks for the effort
The latter part of the message you sent regarding riggs row,Margaret Kilgour was living there with her daughter Isabel Taylor and hubby and also my Great Grandmother Elizabeth King(Loch) died there on the 10th March 1891,and also MK had 2 brothers David and Robert.
Thanks again for the info,I never realised how friendly everyone has been.I will carry on searching.

Hello Trish
Thanks for info
I have a copy of an old parochial register for 1830,which lists a John King and elizabeth Loch having married on the 30/12/1830 in Collessie, the Isabella Taylor nee Loch was the first born of JL and MK,the parents of MK as far as I can see are George Kilgour and Isabel Wilson or Watson,I have somewhere more info MK but,at her baptism were Robert Kilgour (Wright) and Alexander Meldrum(Laberour),the Loch surname has been used as a christian name for two generations, and so this John Loch remians a mystery

Thanks all
I have looked at the census returns and i cannot see how they could be mistaken (lillian--julia) but as you say they are not listed on any bmd site.
I have three more of this family who seem to have disappeared from the lists, the other seven were no problem.
Many Thanks
