Anyone any ideas how I could find out where in Scotland Margaret Ferguson (c1844) was born, she married John Ferguson, and 2 of her children where born in Scotland Joseph & Sarah Jane, but they then moved to Dalston in Cumbria and had Christopher, Jannet & Emma the last b.1877. would also like to find out her maiden name, but have no idea when John & Margaret where married.
Would be grateful of any ideas where to look.

My Grandfather Wren Thompson Clague married Emma Ferguson at Whitehaven 1917.
and I can find nothing of the Clague family, all I know that he lived at Gateshead until his marriage, I am starting from scratch as I know very little about my ancestors on this side of my family, anybody with any info please post.

I am looking for Emma Ferguson b. Whitehaven 1887, her Fathers name was John but I have no record of her mother, they lived in Earls Road Whitehaven at some time, but whether they lived their when Emma was born I don't know
they also had relatives called Railton, so they have been staying with them, any info would be helpful as I am stuck.

Thanks for the info, but I think it may be a different family, Francis William lived at Back Street Fordingbridge and was born 1848, & died 1891 he had 5 sons 1 daughter, George William b.1877
Roy & Bert died as children,James b.1901 & Francis b.1884 died 1915. Ivy I have no d.o.b for.
I found a William Saynbury Brook Terrace Fordingbridge but I am not sure, I will keep trying.

Anyone have any info on Francis William Sainsbury maried to Annie (nee Bailey) he was born 1848 I am trying to find who his parents were, have come to a dead end, any help would be appreciated.
