Just picking up where Kyt left off you might want to order the service file of the Canadian casualty in your uncle's crew, R/69517 Sgt. John Albert Cover.
You can request his service file from the Library and Archives Canada in Ottawa, which will give you substantially more details on the loss of this crew than what the MoD is handing out these days, by following the advice on this link:

I would recommend Option 2 as it is free of charge. When you make your request tell them you would like "all documentation pertaining to the loss of Sgt Cover". Be specific about that as it will contain information about your uncle and Sgt Fairweather.
It takes a fair while (as much as a half year) but they will provide you with up to 25 pages of information free of charge
