Hi gang,Just found out my Grt uncle was in the Essex Regiment in WW1 and got to the rank of sergeant.Can anybody out there look for his war record please if it still exists,would like to know where he was ect.Frederick survived the war and died in 1940,all the best Neil. :)

Hi,This is very interesting,I wonder if she always used her middle name instead of her Christian name because her mother did this also.Strange thing about Croydon is one of her sisters married there as well,will have to look up James O Connell.

Hi isobelw,Thank you very much for sending the scans,It is the first time I have seen a list of mourners.Also did not know Frederick came home to be buried in lavenham,many thanks again Neil p.s Frederick and George are my uncles.

Hi all,If anybody has subscription to Find My past could they look up a list of mourners for two people please.The first is George Harry Brown died May 25 1940 and his brother Frederick Benjamin Brown, June 1 1940 both are in the Bury Free Press newspaper many thanks Neil. :)
