Obituary - Mr T B Wright
The funeral of Mr T N Wright, whose death occured on Saturday, took place from his late residence, 9 Fairman Place, Londonderry, to the city Cemetery yesterday.
The late Mr Wright was for many years Engineering Inspector of the Londonderry Harbour Commissioners and the flag was flown at half-mast on the Harbour office during the week-end as a mark of respect to his memory.
Deceased who was eighty-seven years of age, and a native of Londonderry, had retired in October 1946, after fifty-five years service with the Harbour Board, during most of which he had been Engineering
Inspector. He was an authority on old sailing ships and was the author of a book on the history of old sailing ships in Londonderry.
He was a prominent member of the Masonic order, having been a past master of Culmore Masonic Lodge no 320 ---
The chief mourners were: Mr Albert Wright (son) Mr T J Fulton, Mr W Gilfillan (brothers-in-law) Mrs John, James and William Gilfillan (Nephews)
