Lanarkshire / Douglas Goode Clydebank

Hi i'm looking for any information on Douglas Goode. I don't have any personal details but i do know that he came from Clydebank and he worked in John Browns Shipyard. He would have been born approximately in the 1920s. He later married Jane or Jean Boyce and had four sons.

Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mary

Hi There,

I'm unsure were this post should be, any help would be appreciated.

I'm looking for other decendant of the French beheaders, Charles Henri Sanson and family. I have quite a list on my family tree but details are lacking. I'm itching to know where in the line the arrived in Scotland and obviously any other information anyone else could share with me.

Thanks everyone
Mary  ;)

Hi there and thanks for the advice. It's all new to me so i'm not quite getting the hang of it.

This is what i have already ..

Henry McShane and Mary Coyle both born 1820.

They had a son Henry McShane in 1848 (don't know about other children)Died 1917
He and his wife Mary Toner went on to have a son John Harper McShane in 1871 died 1936

John and his wife Janet Nicholson Sanson went on to have a son Gilbert Sanson McShane 1900 died 1967

He and his wife Annie Gemmel Ferguson then went on to have a son Henry McShane who was my father in 1942 died 1999

I have some siblings in notes of the sons, would that help or is what i have provided enough for a search ?

Thank you M

Exciting, thank you. That'll be a must have :)

I'm going to have to get a little more organised, i hadn't expected there to be quite so much work involved so the little note pad isn't quite doing the job.

Most enjoyable :)
