Looking for some info on my mothers uncle.   His name was William Burns and he was born in around 1902 in Bishop Auckland, England.  His parents were William and Margaret and were living in Birtley in 1911.  That’s where the speculation begins.  Apparently, he moved in the United States sometime in the 1940’s and married an American. Her name unknown.  He may have been a coal miner and he may have actually owned a coal mine?    That’s all I know.   Any info on whatever happened to him would be fascinating.  Thank you in advance....

I am looking for info on my great grandparents and their children.  My grandma was called Margaret Burns.  She was born on September 19th 1915.  Her parents were called John and Margaret Burns.  Margaret’s maiden name was Dunleavy?   Nearly nothing else is known about them apart from their names.   They had perhaps 11 children.  My grandmother Margaret was one of them.  Ted and Katherine may have been siblings.   Any info would be most appreciated.  Thank you.

Trying to find some info on my mother’s aunt.  Her name was Ruby Burns and was born in the Durham area around 1910-1915.  Her parents were Margaret and John Burns.   Her sister, my grandmother was called Margaret and she was born in 1915 and was younger than Ruby.   Ruby got married and was under the name of Proudlock.   Any little info would be most appreciated 😊

Joe lived in Shiney Row and probably died there.   She married Leslie Atkinson and lived in Silksworth for a time

Good afternoon.  Wondering if anyone can help me with any birth or death dates for my great aunt and great uncle. They were Joseph and Alice Scott.  Parents were James and Florence. They were born around 1918 to 1925 in George Street Houghton-Le-Spring of perhaps Newbottle.  Joe may have died in the early 1990's.  married to Mary.    Alice may have lived up until this year somewhere in Yprkshire.    Many thanks.
