Nottinghamshire Lookup Requests / 1901 census lookup request

Hi,
can someone find these 2 people for me?

Alfred Jessop-age 23-born Horncastle?
Kate Jessop-age 22-born Horncastle?

In 1891 they were living at 39 Millgate,Newark with their mother Susan(Mahalah Susan),stepfather John Jessop(aka Chester) and 2 step siblings Rose and Mahalah who by 1901 would be 18 and 11 respectively.
There is a strong probability that they might have stopped using the surname Jessop and reverted to their late father's name of Norton or Lincoln(he was also known by both).

Thanks for any help anyone can give me,
Trisha

Hi,
he married an Elizabeth Shinn in West Dereham by Licence on Aug 14th 1788.He's of the parish ,she's of Shipdham(although I think she was born in Gooderstone in 1758)and both were single.Source-Archdeacons Transcripts-Upwell

Hi,
The surviving children of his that I've found are Mary b 1790,Thomas,b 1796 and Ann b 1803.All born in Upwell.I don't know who the girls married but Thomas is married to a Charlotte and someone previously traced him for me in the 1841 census to Small lode,Upwell and apparently his grandfather wasn't with him.
If the usual leeway of age is 5 years either way then that would mean that the William Howard you found was born between 1776 and 1786.If it's 1776 then he was 12 when he got married.Don't think it's him.
If he's not on the census it must mean he died before 1837 and after 1803.

Hi,
I'm looking for a William Howard in either of these census.
He's probably living in Upwell and if his wife is still alive she is called Elizabeth.
He was born in Norfolk, possibly West Dereham, but I'm not sure.He will be possibly in his 60's(1841) or 70's (or even early80's)by these census' .As you can tell I'm not over sure of his birth year.I can only give a guesstimate that he may have married at 21 and he married in 1788.
What I'm interested in most of all is his age and ,if it's given, his place of birth.
Sorry to be vague with my facts.
Many thanks to anyone who can help.
Trisha.  :) :) :)

Hi,
I've only recently started to properly trace this line of my tree so I've only trace my direct line thoroughly.
He's not with his only surviving son Thomas .His 2 surving daughters Mary b 1790 and Ann b 1803 both in Upwell have most likely married.
Sorry I can't help any more.I'ts probable that he died but not definite, his grandson lived to 96!

Hi,
yes you're right. It looks like Thomas Howard died between the 2 censuses.
Where does it say Thomas Folmer/Palmer was born?
Many thanks.
Trisha. :)
