Can anybody point me in the right direction for finding any information about my German grandfather who was a POW at shady lane camp? His name was Otto Stadler 1925 - 1980. I have hos marriage certificate to my English Grandmother so I know his Parents names but I’m rather clueless how to proceed further to find out more of his German family. Any guidance is most appreciated

Hi! I am wondering jimbohodge if you got any further in your search for Christine/Christina? She is also my great great grandmother. On the 1921 census (Living with her son william lambert and daughter Lucy Lambert) her birthplace is given as Cupar, Fifeshire. I haven’t been able to find anything more yet.
