I think you are right there Trish.

I don't seem to be getting any further forward with finding Mary's death though  :(
Could she have died in the Humber & never been found? Would there be  a death record?

How strange, I am sure it hasn't always been there.

Thanks Geoff, I had never been sure that I had found my mary's baptism & as you say, none of her daughters were named Ann. So I could be looking again for her.
Trish, that is the marriage I have as well, I've never found it on the IGI though  ???

Lincolnshire / Looking for Mary Anderton's death

I am trying to find the death of my ggg grandmother Mary Anderton nee Lowe. She seems to have died sometime between the birth of my gg grandmother Septiana in Dec 1843 and Dec 1851 when her husband Edward remarries as a widower.
As she only appears on the 1841 census, I am not totally sure where she was born in Lincolnshire but have  a baptism in 1806 in West Keal, which I believe to be her. She was in Barton upon Humber when Septiana (and all her other  children) was born but there is no trace of her being buried there & no sign of a death. There is a death & burial for a Mary Anderton there in 1850 but this was her 13 year old daughter.
I can't find her anywhere & am begining to wonder if she drowned in the Humber & her body never recovered  :-\
Can anyone find her please?

Thats brilliant! The page is awful as you said & for some reason they have transcribed William the son twice & missed out Ethell altogether but I am sure that is the right one. Thank you very much.  :)

Completed Census Requests / Struggling to find my Browns in 1851
« on: Wednesday 14 January 09 20:24 GMT (UK)  »
I have found my ggg grandparents William Brown c1791 & Charlotte (nee Hines) c1796 in 1841 in St Marys Lambeth, Surrey, ref HO107 piece 1054 Book 3. their youngest son Thomas is with them and a few lines up the page is their eldest son William c1816 Clapham, wife Ethell c1816 Wandsworth & son William c1840. However I have been unable to find any of them in 1851.  ???

I have William Junior & Ethell in Lambeth in 1861 with their son William & daughter Charlotte c1848 Holborn Middlesex, & younger children who weren't born in 1851.

Can anyone help me find them please?

Thanks Helena that is brilliant. I had the burial of Walter & his wife from the Mount Royal website but you have given me more info. So sad that they died so close together & didn't live to see Charles marry

Many thanks

Lynn
