I have a relative described as an "outdoor cook" in 1901 in South Shields.

Does anyone know anything about the outdoor aspect of this occupation?  I can only think of 'street food'... and if that's anywhere near the truth, does anyone know what would have been on the menu?

I don't think that lady has any connection to my Robertsons either.

Among others I don't know about yet there are two female Robertson grandchildren who may have married and changed names: Sarah L b. c1917 and Barbara G b. c1919 in Milton, Norfolk, Mass.  where most of the family still were in 1920.

My brother has a photo of a late 30s early 40s wedding in Massachussetts...but it's in Scotland and he's now in Wales     I also have a photo of a girl ^(*) born Sep 7th 1947 (I think).  All mysteries yet to be revealed!

Do you think parish records might help?  And would I be able to access them do you know?
