Thank you Hallmark,

Quote....Loughmourne Grave Yard
'''''This is 4 miles north of Carrickfergus and on the east side of Carneal Road A covenanting meeting house was established here in 1804 but the church is now associated with the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church It is a long low building at the foot of a slope, which is used as the burial ground The earliest date of death is 1808 (Stewart) All those inscriptions which record deaths before 1901 have been copied ''''. Unquote

It is not on a map......I have been right round all the roads trying to find it....just hoped someone knows where it is.

:::  Ballymather lower town land Killead (1851)

Samuel Galt  head  grocer  age 42 Antrim
Agnes Galt wife age 36
Thomas Galt son 6
James Galt son 5 our g g grandfather married Elizabeth Boyd
Mary Jane Galt  2

Samuel being a grocer fits in with James and Elizabeth's marriage cert but family lore puts their shop between Ballyhenry and Carnmoney also the spelling of Gault can change to Galt then back again.:::

I did manage to find a mention of Lizzie Gault as graddaughter in the will of William John Boyd died 14/6/1891....wills now online........

DebGem......I am very low on any information on Hugh Galt/Gaults.....not connected...sorry

OH...these are so lovely to play with.......hours of fun looking with them.. ;D

I have found a link between " Thee Cunningham family from Crockedstone " which is really exciting with the Stevenson marrying in and then leaving them monies in their will.

Onward
