In a 1878 Post Office Directory of Kent, there is a George Wood listed as a beer retailer, 20 Pudding Lane.

Hi
My GGGG Grandfather was Edward Briggs, a brother to Mary, one of the 11 children of William & Violetta,
but I'm sorry I don't have any information regarding Mary, but good luck with your research, and of course
if I come across anything that would be of interest to you I will pass it on.
                   Kind regards

in Chatham, one at  60 Seymour Road, and the other at  87 Upper Luton Road.

Suffolk / Re: Registry office wedding / Lowestoft
« on: Thursday 17 June 10 21:23 BST (UK)  »
Hi LizzieW,
Thank you very much, I do know Mary's family history, and had guessed that Mary had met James in
Lowestoft, the family moved to Anglesey 1913, leaving Mary in Suffolk, her choice I suspect, I didn't know
anything about James Eaton though,so thanks for that snippet of info.

Hi LizzieW,
As I said I do have a copy of the Birth Cert. of the daughter born in 1922, and that clearly states both
parents as Eaton and Mary as formerly Lydon, The photo looks like a wedding pose,it is only the two of them
she is seated, and he is standing next to her, I understand the family are sure that it is a photo of their
 g. grandparents, maybe it was taken at someone else's wedding.
                       Many thanks
