I posted my request in the wrong region (Sussex), so here it is again;

Can someone help me find a list of pupils who attended this establishment around the time, census perhaps?
Headmaster or administrator is said to have been a Mr. T. Wilson.

TIA!
Maria

Ooops, I think I am in the wrong region here.

Perhaps should post my question in England General?

I came across this establishment in a book I am reading at present.
The headmaster (or administrator?) at the time is said to be T. Wilson.

Can you help me find list of pupils at this school or census records for this time?

My German is not quite so rusty - I give it a try;

First; "Meinem lieben Emil gewidmet von seiner Else, Weihnachten 1904(9?)"
 dedicated to my darling Emil, by his Else, Christmas 1904 (or 1909?)

Second: "Zur Erinnerung an Deine ?? Schwester(?) Clara. Kiel, August 1906"
In memory of your  [cannot decipher the two-letter and the following word, but that could be sister] Clara, Kiel August 1906

If his memory played tricks on him, could he have meant Killucan or Kilcullen?

No restoration request, just a passing comment from a rootschatter who loves to stop by and see what can be done to old photos. You guys are really good at bringing the old wrinklies back to life!
This paticular granny struck me as being so 'modern' looking and because she reminded me of a dear friend (now deceased) I had at high school. Same nose, lips, even expression and hair style, a genuine 'Doppelgaenger'. It's uncanny.

Just wanted to say thanks for the unexpected memories :-)

Of course!

A clear case of not seeing the wood for the trees.
I seem to be a bit slow in understanding the significance of what I read. I had initially gone through the PRONI records as you suggested but just did not make the connection when I found John mentioned later.

I have a pretty good idea of the family now.

Can you please mark this topic as <Completed>?

Thanks again, you are really good!

Thanks again.

Meanwhile I have gone back one generation, but have hit a brickwall.

Edward Richardson of Poplar Vale, High Sherriff 1871, was the eldest son of Capt. John Richardson and Frances, daughter of George Jacson, of Barton Hall, Lancashire.

Any chance of finding (the) other children of John and Frances?
