Wales / Davies/Powell
« on: Thursday 03 November 05 14:52 GMT (UK)  »
On the birth cert. of my late Father-in-law in 1915 it states his parents as
George Hugh Davies & Beatrice Eleanor Powell (registration district of
Merthyr Tydfil)
No joy in obtaining their marriage cert.Their Youngest son died during WW2 &
his parents are listed as George Hugh & Nellie Beatrice Davies.

Is anyone able to look up & see if they can find an entry that just might fit?!!!
Their eldest child was born in 1910

Many Thanks

Kent Completed Lookup Requests / Re: Ward of Faversham
« on: Thursday 03 November 05 14:30 GMT (UK)  »
Many thanks for info - it seems likely that this is the right family, but where's
John? Out on his fishing boat, perhaps?
He's also at The Coal Exchange in 1871
Have got John in 1891 census but on his own - cant make out if he's a widower
or not!!

Have been trying to fit John in with my Family for 15 years now!!!Stephen Ward is at C.E pub in 1881 & the 2 are not brothers or even appear to be
Uncle & nephew though John has signed several papers to do with Stephen
& his family.
Any Ideas?
