Surrey Completed Look up Requests / Re: GOSDEN marriages in Chertsey area **COMPLETED**
« on: Tuesday 08 December 15 22:19 GMT (UK)  »

Hello

I'm struggling with birth dates too I'm afraid. Edward was 60 when he was buried in Addlestone on
3 Oct 1887. So 1827 looks right.

If I recall, the brothers had a joint wedding when they married Eliza and Ann respectively.

Edward's daughter Ruth and Thomas' son William were cousins that married. Ruth and William's eldest daughter Eda Gosden was my grandmother.

I will keep looking for birth data for Thomas and Edward. I know the church in Addlestone burnt down a while ago and had to be rebuilt. I hope the records weren't lost in the fire.

Look forward to finding out what you know about the Gosdens.

Best wishes, Stephen Carter

Hello

This is an old thread but I am interested in your interest in the Gosden family.

Thomas and Edward are both my 2 x great grandfathers.

Their children Ruth and William married.

Thanks

Stephen Carter
