STOP!!! I am totally and utterley lost...........

My Mary Bingham (1814) father is John Bingham and wife Mary Nicholes they have 6 children John, William Nicholes, James, Ann , Thomas, Mary and Zachariah.

John Binghams (jnr) Father is also John Bingham (snr) but we don't have any info other than that.

Then John Bingham (snr) father is James Bingham ,married to a Rebecca and has 5 children, John, James,Elizabeth, Martha and Mary.

(
Looking at the Parish registers, the will of 1816 is of James born 1746, as he was 70 at burial January 1816.
The James whose will is 1797 was born 1713.

1775-1831)

so who or where do these James fit in?

Some Bingham baptisms in Hatfield Broad Oak
Possibly starting with John in 1804. If you are logged in to FamilySearch you can see the BT - as explained by Rosie - here
https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:9Q97-YSLX-V2K?i=1126&cat=494879

Not sure this is John, Mary's father, as he would only have been 10 when she was born so more than likely her brother or not even related?

But! - It seems that John Bingham had sisters Susannah and Mary who did not marry.

Confused here, so these would be Mary's sisters too??

Well what can I say but a 'MASSIVE' thank you. I really appreciate all your help.

What annoys me is I use Family Search and can 'never' find the things you have found. I really feel I should be able to do this myself!!  :-\

I don't have access to Ancestry, so can't see the will. On Google books where I looked it only went up to page 64  :(   Not sure what the 'BT's' are?

I have them on the 1841 census HO107 Piece number 435 Book 4  Folio    30 Page   14   Crib Street, Ware, Hertfordshire, England

I know I posted back in November but that was mainly about the 'Perry's' and since then I have done very well with that side thank you.

Yep that is all the children.

I'm sorry if I didn't give you all the info you needed, I was trying to go backwards to find either of her parents.

My GGG Grandmother, Mary Bingham approx 1817
That is more or less it!
She marries Henry Perry in 1840, they have 8 children. On the census her place of birth varies between, Essex and Hatfield.
On her marriage certificate in The Parish Church of Shoreditch, Middlesex, her father is John Bingham, Farmer.
Any help gratefully recieved, thanks

I am not so certain about the burial of Robert Britton, as his son Samuel married twice once in 1840 and again in 1848 and he is on both certificates occupation of Stonecutter in 1840 and Quarryman in 1848.
Sometimes I get so confused, I have tried to find him on the 1841 census but with no luck... so far!

I have just found the marriage of James Lacey Britton in 1839, father is Robert Britton, so there is a chance I might find him on the 1841 census,  will keep you posted!

Oh my goodness, what a pain!
No wonder I can't find them on the 1841 census. How do you narrow it down or is it 'best guess'?
