Thanks very much for the Restorations and the information, yeah i have seen a few documents on his brother but cant seem to find a citation of his medal, which is a shame.

Well i cant seem to find any Military Records of Percy which is kinda strange but i do know he was born  in December of 1899 and so he would of joined in late 1917 early 1918. He was in the Devonshire Regiment in what i guess "Signals/dispatch rider" section, and that's all i know.

Thanks very much for the all Colour versions and for the extra information about the Hospital Armband System, i never knew the men were organised in this way as i always assumed he was wearing his Signallers Armband on his Hospital uniform (i have attached another photo of him as he has a few strange insignia badges on his arm). Percy was the youngest child of fifteen (6 were boys and all joined up) and was always know as the "Boy Soldier" as he joined just a few weeks after his 17 birthday. His brother James died on the 11th September 1918 and was awarded the MM but the reason for his award is sadly unknown.

Hi Again

I have just been looking through some old family war photos and came across two of both my uncle Percy and uncle Jim. I wondered if both could have a touch of colour to them (the one of Percy is kinda  over saturated and so might look better restored), both of them had Blue eyes and Brown Hair.
