Hi, trying to find any info on George Monks  born near to 1789 think at  Culcheth  his Wife Anne born near to 1793  their Daughter Ann born 1836 was my GG Grandmother would like  to  know Parents of George if possible as i feel that Monk House Farm at Parkside Road Winwick could have been named after them the land was Surveyed in  1745 by Benjamin Yoxell. Thanks for any help.  Martin Hindley.

To Radcliffe, would you know how and where i can apply for the will of  Joseph Hindley as you recommended in your post  22nd of September as he died 16th of Jan 1860 if it is not to much trouble .  As you discovered formerly  of Newton in Makerfield  but late of Winwick with hulme by Oath of his Son William one of the Executors. To Radcliffe, many thanks for all your time with this, and you are right so many Hindleys  will go through all this slowly now, i have been here in Brisbane over 40 Years and we hardly ever see the Hindley Name in fact when we arrived their  was only one in the Phone book, once again  Cheers Martin.

To Doran54,   regarding your comment on out of Wedlock  they seemed to be big Church goers in those days so be cause this Familyhad so many Children on my Chart their are  11, just a thought if you see where i am coming from. Cheers  Martin.

To Radcliffe, you say Betty not with the Family in 1841 so maybe Died at 13 ?? i have on my Chart Betty as   1828   Johne  1831  Joseph  1832  Ellen  1833  Mary  1836  James  1839  William  1840  another Joseph  1842  Ann 1845  and  Catherine  1848.     And a Joseph  who on the Chart  is only Linked to his Mother Mary 1843.   ?        Thanks for info on Josephs Marriage at Newchurch  Well done.  Martin.
