Gloucestershire Completed Lookup Requests / Clarification of transcription
« on: Thursday 08 June 17 15:07 BST (UK)  »
Hi

I would be grateful if someone with access to Ancestry could look up the record for Gloucester Marriages & Banns 1754 - 1938 - 24th Nov 1806 Bisley - Ann Kent m. John Jeffris and go into the actual hand written record available.  My reading of this is Ann HUNT not Kent it does seem quite clear to me what do you think  ???

Hi all

After reading these posts I decided to sign up it sounded like fun.  The reply I received back is thank you but no thank you.   :o

Quote "Due to high demand we are currently only recruiting male writers who are aged 16-44, living in all regions of the UK except the South East. We do accept applications from people who meet two of the three criteria (for example, we would accept female writers aged between 16-44, living in the North), but due to limited resources we are sadly unable to accept all applicants. I am afraid that you do not fit into this category and I therefore regret that we are unable to add you to the panel of Mass Observation writers".

Not alot more I can say  :(

Gloucestershire Lookup Requests / Re: Bisley Parish Records - Jefferies/Gardiner
« on: Friday 07 October 16 15:17 BST (UK)  »
Hi Pam

Yes I have Ephraim Robert also he isn't linked to any of my Gardiner's so far but time and further research may tell.  I have his father as John Gardiner but no mother as yet.  He is however linked to my branches via his wife Ann Couldrey, I have several Couldrey (with various spellings) throughout along with Young and Gubbins.  Did your gt grannie go to the USA?

Hi

Thanks rosie99 I'll take a look sorry for my spelling mistake Hepburn.

My interest is whether there were any homes as such in the area.  I did try searching for the homes via the web with no luck.
