Some online trees suggest that Joseph is Peter's father, but I believe they might have been brothers.

I think Peter originally lived in Scott Township with his first wife, Susannah. Both Jonas and Noah seem to suggest that this was their mother. Although, I can not seem to find a record for her. There is also a Robert Pilch (b. 1839) born in Scott Township to Peter and Susanna who was married to Ann Hacking on 8 Nov 1865.

Canada Lookup Request / Pilch Surname in Scott Township and Uxbridge.

I am looking for information on the family of Peter Pilch who was born in Norfolk, England abt. 1815.

He was married to Elizabeth (Heath) Pilch and some online trees suggest that they were married abt. 1840. However, I believe he had an earlier marriage to Susannah (unknown).

Online trees also suggest that his parents were Joseph and Elizabeth. However, I believe that Joseph was Peter's brother and they were both the children of Robert and Sarah from Blickling, Norfolk, England.

Known children include: Jonas (1842-1857), Noah (1844-1904), William (1848-), James (1850-), Henry (1853-), Sarah Ann (1855-), and Eliza (1860-).

Peter was buried in the Sandford Memorial Cemetery, Uxbridge Twp, Ontario, Canada.

At the time I was looking for marriage records between William Mills and Mary Calvert on October 1, 1821 and Mary Cook on  June 25, 1835 -- not Ann HARDING in 1791. However, I have purchased a monthly subscription for findmypast and have now located these records. Unfortunately, I have not been able to determine William's parents through these records. So, I am still at a dead end.

BumbleB -- The question in January was in regards to William Jr., William's son. It was from findmypast that I was able to determine that his parents were William and Ann HARDING. Now, I am trying to go one step further. Sorry if you confused father for son. As you can see, the dates and spouses are clearly different.

Yorkshire (North Riding) Lookup Requests / William Mills (1768 - 1848) Guisborough
« on: Thursday 14 April 16 12:56 BST (UK)  »
Can someone do a lookup for William Mills who was born in Guisborough in 1768? There are two records of his death. One in the Yorkshire Bishop's transcripts of burials, and another another in    Yorkshire Burials in 1848. I am also interested in learning who witnessed his marriage to Ann Harding in 1791. I am trying to determine who his parents were and am trying to determine if either of these records hold this information.

I must be dim; I still can't find how to search the databases. I put in Peter Crouter's name, but I don't come up with any results.

Is there an easier way to check these microfilms for names or do I have to flip through the individual records manually?
