James Hay married an Ellen Grant Eaton in Shotts district in 1880, so a potential match for Mary Jane Eaton Hay's parents.
Mary Jane's parents are James Hay and Helen Grant Eaton. Mary Ann Eaton Livie is not a match.

Trying to find info on Mary Jane Hay b. 1887 in Ecclesmachan. She appears in the 1891 census. Parents are James and Helen Hay. I have not been able to find any other info on her, but I did find a marriage cert for her sister Agnes in 1904 when she married Angus Russell in Govan, which was signed by Pollie Eaton Hay. I know Pollie can be a nickname for Mary, but wondering how to determine if this is same person, and any further info about her

Wondering if you have any info on Helen Stevenson b. abt 1790 in St. Ninians. She married John Davie in 1810 and they had 6 children: Janet, James, Robert, Thomas, John and Helen. I believe she died sometime between 1826 and 1832 when John re-married. Looking for her parents if possible.

Looking for information on Catherine Coventry (born Russell in Scotland 1923). She and her husband William Coventry moved to Channel Islands after 1948 from Scotland. I believe to Guernsey, but not sure. Have no idea how to begin searching for her or her husband or any children they may have had.

I did check the immigration to Australia. This is not the same Donald. It shows his father as Duncan and that he was from Argyll.

Looking for information on Donald Colquhoun born in 1826 to Angus Colquhoun and Katherine McIntyre in Cardross. All other siblings born in Glasgow, and Donald married Mary Peden in 1852 in Glasgow, so assuming he grew up in Glasgow. He had a daughter, Elizabeth, born in 1852 also in Glasgow. His wife Mary died in 1853 in Glasgow, and daughter shows up in the 1861 census living with maternal grandparents. I have found no other information on Donald. Any additional information regarding Donald Colquhoun or his daughter, Elizabeth Colquhoun is appreciated.
