dear Graceland I am researching the names Thomas and Lewis in Adforton not far from leintwardine my ggreat grandad was buried in leintwardine My aunt ada a Thomas was married to an Archer and they lived in Leintwardine I always thought Leintwardine was in Shropshire and I have been in the wrong place trust ::) me

Hi Celia I think its a lost cause I am going to search through the early census at macclesfield library Potts Shrigley is about three or four miles from Mcclesfield and 1/2 a mile out of Bollington it has two halls Pott Hall and Shrigley Hall where most of the residents worked. Shrigley hall was connected by a marriage to Lyme Hall, which ground stretched onto the Shrigley estate.so servanrs migrated between the  two there was also a mining community well maybe you will be lucky thanks for taking time June :D

My ggreat uncle Robert Sculley was buried in Droylsden cemetery in 1914 d.o.d 10/1/14 it was a public burial does this mean it was a paupers funereal he was only thirteen and I remember somthing about all the Gipsy's coming to the cemetery I know nothing else

Please could anyone help I am looking for a Jane Williamson who was born in Pott Shrigley in 1817 <so she says on the 1861 census but no record on st Christophers Pott Shrigley or st Peter's Prestbury what now :o

My sister bless her heart made me a treasure box for Christmas which contained lots of old photo's it was all wrapped up with gold ribbon and was the best present of all
