Hey Alison hows you?

I don't have a great deal of information about Johns death. I did get in touch with the Colliery, but as he did not die from an accident, they did not hold any info on him, the only thing they could say was what s already on his death cert   
 I think they were living in Bothwell Haugh I will double check if they at Brandon Place and also time of death I think it was early morning
 Alison this happened 4 weeks before Granddad was born. and Nan Kerr had already adopted uncle Bert.
 will Pm you when I've check details

I was wondering if someone could clean & tidy myself, brothers & sisters up for me
I think it was taken in late 60s Unfortunately there is only the 3 of us now my elder brother passed away 2 weeks ago. I would very much like to give my brother & sister a happy memory & with your help I hope I can

Sorry Ned died 1972 he was my G- granddad & Jonbro Granddad my Dad was Jonbros brother these stories are from family I only met Ned once back in the 60s
when I was about 8 or 9 & of course he was just another relative to me then but I can tell you if he was still here I would be pestering him with recorder in hand :D

Im sorry the only picture I have is the one Ive already posted Ive lived in England all my life only ever visited Fallin once back in the 60s Jonbro did say he was going to talk with other family members perhaps he may be able to get a few more photos As for the stories lets put it this way Ned was a bit of a character and they involve pubs and money There is one story in the book about Neds return from WW1 involving the Goth ::)
