The Hawkins family my wife is part off was........

Patrick Hawkins.  Wife Elizabeth Dunne married in 1912 these were her grandparents and there mother was Mary Lilly ( Patrick) and Mary o'brien ( Elizabeth's)

1st child Mary Kate
2nd dilly ( nickname) Bridget
3rd Sarah
4th Lucy
5th Joseph
6th Teresa
7th Patrick
8th Norah (noonie)
9th Margaret (meg)
10th Rita

The farm is still in same family not sure of present name of farm but it was.  Beech hill, Newtown,new inn,woodlawns ballinasloe co.galway

Of course I'll bear that in mind.

My wife's mother was born in ballinasloe county Galway newton beechill,woodlawns she was the youngest child of we think 10or 13 born June 1926, she had a child which she had to have adopted /fostered we think around 1940 to possibly 1947 my mother in laws name was Rita Hawkins

Can anybody shed any light on this the baby's father? I.e. The baby was also Rita

My sister just sent it to me although it's difficult to read it says born 1887, born in Scotland I was hoping Ireland but its become addictive and uncovered a lot of things we never new, I.e. It looks like there were other siblings and we thought it was just sue quite fascinating never having done it before but we're really grateful for everyone's help, just got to uncover the rest now
