Something is amiss though - I think perhaps there was a lie about her age somewhere

If she was married at 16 in 1890 that means she was born about 1874 which means her death in 1955 would put her at 81 years, not 79....

I very much doubt that is her though as I have the following information . ..

1930 • 153 Leet St, Invercargill, New Zealand
Fruitier & Confectionary. Listed at this time under her married name as Kate Cossgrove.

1954 • 5 Turret Rd, Tauranga South, New Zealand
widow

1955 • Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, New Zealand
ref #1955/34616 ? maybe


I believe she was divorced in 1913, would her death certificate show this ?

I purchased two birth certificates trying to trace my great-grandmother and they were the wrong certificates. So I've attached them below in case anyone finds use of them
