Alan,
You mention the address from records as 'Cil Llidiart, Groeslon'; the address on the screenshot I posted above says 'Gallt y Sil - LLanbeblig I think.

Is there a connection?

Caernarvonshire / Llanllyfni address for Parry family
« on: Friday 01 October 21 13:09 BST (UK)  »
My gt.gt.gt. grandparents were Robert and Ann Parry nee Roberts. Robert b. 1785-died 1865; Ann born 1786 -died 1860.  Address Tyn Llan, Llanllyfni.  This address appears in census for many of their descendants.
Is it a house, row of houses, street, or a hamlet?

Diolch.

Morning,
Re Thomas Dickinson Swift 1831, curious to know who he parents were. My husband's research centres around Altcar/Formby/Lydiate/Downholland, etc. etc.  His maternal line are Dickinsons.

Caernarvonshire / Re: Nantlle (retitled)
« on: Monday 27 September 21 16:56 BST (UK)  »
Perseverance is the name of the family history game..............................after noticing a tree on Anc. which had names and dates matching my tree re relatives in Nantlle, I quickly fired off a private message and got an almost instant reply from a gt.grandaughter of Evan Owen and Elizabeth Jones nee Jones who lives Pwllheli, her sister lives Nantlle.
Like Erstom, she remembers some of the folk in my tree.
.
At about the time I was typing my message, her sister in Nantlle had come across my plea for information on my Nantlle family..................spooky eh?

We are frantically exchanging information and photographs; it's so exciting.

Hannah Maria Parsons nee Corrin, died 7/12/1921 - born 1868.
