I guess my brain had suddenly stopped working of course some dates would of been a bonus tut tut! big sorry for that. What am I like ha!
But a big thanks to you for the reply. Yes you have the right Colston.
The Gregory family had him as a lodger at 33 Gladstone Street, Bristol, age 12 where you found him. I can get him aged 2 years on the 1891 census living in Eastville Bristol.
And I have the month of his birth: March in 1889 from that years census in Bristol (Barton Regis). I have been told he join the Army aged around 24yrs, which would of made the year 1914. And he was also sure to of been in the Calvary
