Lincolnshire Completed Look up Requests / 1841 & 1851 census Ann Priestly/priesly
« on: Wednesday 23 May 07 05:02 BST (UK)  »
Can anyone please help.
I am trying to find Ann/Anne Priestly or Priesly in the above censuses.

She was born approx 1830 in Navenby.

She was married poss in June quarter 1851 to William Clarke , born in South Kyme.
I have found them in 1861 living in Dogdyke with their family.
She was then aged approx 28, but I have her death in 1905 aged 75 years.
Hopefully tattyhead :) :)

Yorkshire (East Riding & York) Lookup Requests / marriage of Ann Hewson
« on: Wednesday 16 May 07 08:16 BST (UK)  »
Can anyone help?
I am trying to find the wedding of Ann Hewson, She was married to a John Pigus (Pygas) Pygus. Any of these spellings as the name altered a l;ot.
They had a daughter Ann born in 1838.
Ann Hewson was baptised in Keyingham in 1803 father david no mother mentioned in IGI.
They lived in  Keyingham in 1861 and preston in 1851 and daughter was born in Lelley.
As I now live in Oz I would appreciate any help in the right direction as this family have been very elusive especially the pigas connextion.
Hopefully tattyhead :)

Yorkshire (East Riding & York) Lookup Requests / John Pargas (Pygass)
« on: Saturday 05 May 07 05:31 BST (UK)  »
Can anyone help?

I am tring to trace the above. He is in the IGI as Christened 16 Jul 1800 in Preston by Hedon Yorks.
Father named as Joel Pargas.

My John Pygass lived and died in Preston & married an Ann? They had a daughter called ann ( my G Gmother).
I have them on 1851 as pygass and 1861 as Pygus but would like to perhaps find a marriage for John under any of these spelligs if possible as the family is so elusive. I have now moved to OZ so any help would be appreciated
Hopefully tattyhead (was also known as nutcase) :-\
