Hi All

Attached is a copy of a pension records being reviewed.
The last table shows pensions ceased by death.

My direct ancestor is on that list he lived in Perthshire so I assume his pension was paid locally he was initially discharged from army to pension in 1811.

Am I understanding you correctly? -

You could not log in....then you changed the password...and you still cannot login?

How did you change the password if you could not log in?



The site sends you a link to renew your password to the email addy that you first used to register

I had a look on NLS and found this one

At the Junction of grid lines 68 08 which is approx 10miles due north from Banchory as the crow flies.
There is a Muirtown and a muirtowncroft.
I can't see parish boundaries.

Hi all
The reason the records for Comrie are missing is due to the rebellion of early 18th centuary when the highlanders marched south Comrie was sacked and also when the government forces marched north they got the rest the beadles house where the records were kept was burnt and the records lost. Later the minister and I can't remember when went door to door to try and build back the records I found 3 generations of my ancestors on one page of a note book on microfiche in the A K Bell library in perth

Thank you I have found them, why do they not put them in order mine starts at 2019 then to 2017 on to 2020 back to 2019 its not until you get to the second page that you find He more recent one mix in with older orders can they not be ordered by date rather than generated order number.
