I am a bit slow on the uptake, now that I have sat down and read through all the emails it is starting to make sense. I will have write down all the information to see which way it is going. My Irish side of the family tree has just increase. Will there be any point in looking for what Christopher was in prison in 1903 for, and what happen to him in 1901-1911 censuses. One more died end was the Christopher Archbold born 1872 Dublin living in America I have his marriage cert; different father.
It doe's not help with  the surname of Archbold when they add an i and change the o to an a
Thank you for all the help given me lots to think about.

Hi you are all too fast for me by the time I write a reply there is more coming in
Am absolutely floored with all the advice, but I think we getting off the mark a bit.
Christopher Archbold born 30 May 1872 living at 2 Bishop’s Place at that time his father occupation is down as a Porter. The registrar district was Dublin South City no3. On the 1901 census Kate Archbold aged 40 is either living at or working at 2 Northcote Avenue Kingstown Dublin. On the marriage cert; of Kate Archbold in 1901 the two witnesses are James Hogan and Margaret Murray no idea how these two fit in.

Hi Dudley and Shane
On the family search site LDS it has Oliver death as 1892 South Dublin and Maria/Mary death as 1899 South Dublin. It also has Christopher birth May 1872 in South Dublin  I have his birth cert ; Kate  was born around 1863 she is the only one I can find on the census she was living in Dublin in 1901 and gives her birth place as Dublin then married and moved to Devon. With the marriage of Oliver and Maria I was given that 12 years ago with the email address of the Parish priest. After a very short reply from him saying there is no record, further emails I have sent have not been returned. If I cannot find their parents I was hoping the witness to the marriage may help.

Hi Dudley
 Thank you for the welcome.
Oliver and Maria married 15 July 1850 Camolin Parish Wexford; I cannot take them down any further as I am told there is no record of the marriage. Only two children found Kate went on to marry James Rendell 1901 Dublin, Christopher is born 1872 then just disappears, with no census before 1901 I cannot build up a family. The two big problems are in their names Oliver Archbold nothing comes up on any web site, but if I enter Maria Murphy I get flooded with names.
