Hi Waralan,

It is fantastic news that you have now found your Grandfather's Birth Certificate !! whohooo :)

The Siblings Richard and Elizabeth, when where they born ? Depending on their age you may be able to track them through the Census returns although you will have to keep an eye out for Elizabeth's Marriage.

I am not familiar with the Wisbech area or I do not know if you live within travelling distance?

Bye for now

Sarah :)

Hi,
I've just done a search on Google putting in the word "Ickleton", which brought up a wonderful website<

www.ickletonvillage.co.uk

On this if you click on "Photo Archive" you get a list of nearly 80 photos, which you can view, some as early as 1879; a Joseph Baynes proudly poses in a bright red military uniform.  No pictures of what I wanted, but there are some wonderful snaps from the past there - Saxon Lodge does actually appear in the distance in a couple of them.  Maybe other villages have similar excellent sites.
Keith

Thanks Keith !

Hello Sarah,

It might help if we could find out a little more about your interests.

Is it all occurances for all years for these areas or are we looking for a specific family?

Regards

Sarah :)

Hi Geoff,

Is there anything more you can tell us about George W. Goddard ?

It is always good to know where you are upto with your research so then we can all try to possibly help (if we can)

Perhaps you have a trade or a mention in the census returns...??

Hello Megan,

How are you getting on with your Bennet Sisters ?

Have you found the Marriage Certificate for Annie and her husband yet this may give us some clue to her father and his trade etc

Also have you tried previous census returns yet?

Sarah :)

Hello Acorn,

You should be able to find Patrick on the 1881 Census!

Have you found him already or which country do you expect to find him?

Regards

Sarah :)
