PAM ~~~~~~~~~~~

Wonderful information, thanks so much for the time and effort you have put in to help me!
I can now go forward to 1881 with this info.

One last request please!!

There was another son at home on the 1851,who didn't appear on the 1861<<<
ROBERT WILLIAMS, BORN BEDDGELERT C.1844 - SO HE WOULD BE 27 YRS. ON THE 1871, most probably living Llanrug like the rest of the family.

Gratefully,
Glenys :) :) :) :)

Thanks for the welcome!!!!!

Yes those are the ages I would expect them to be in 1871.
I have 1841/1851/1861.    On the latter Robert and Catherine had living with them GRIFFITH =ELLIS=THOMAS=ANNE=CATHERINE=JANET=CHARLOTTE.
I wasn't sure if they would still be living at home, obviously not, as you have found ELLIS married with a child!

The address was CAEATHRO, LLANRUG.

Much appreciate your help. :)

familysearch also get it wrong"

Took ages on 1881 looking for THRELFALL, eventually found it only because of family christian names and locality - they had spelt it PHULFALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Lighter Side / Re: what makes us suddenly start researching our ancestors?

Hello to everyone--
I started being interested when hearing, from a cousin of my late father, of my gt.grandmother who sailed from Liverpool to Australia when she was 14 to join an older sister who had emigrated a few years before. My gt.grandmother was not accompanied on this voyage - what a journey it must have been!!
Have found quite a lot of info. on her and her family, and it makes very interesting reading.
Good luck to all fellow 'researchers' :) :) :) :)
