Thanks for your info. My dad came to Canada in 1925 via the Liverpool Sheltering Home (Barnardo's). He went a farm at Kinburn Ontario (Near Ottawa). In 1926 George JENKINS came under the BCIA and also went to Kinburn. My dad (B; 1909 - d: 1980) and George met up in Kinburn and they remain friends and there was a family association up to George death in 2002. There always some discusion of George's origins in the UK before he came to Canada. He made several trips in later year to visit a sister in Ireland (I assume northern). So at present time I have sufficient information on George as I really only wanted to confirm his birth as that was open to discussion in our family. So thank you for your help, greatly appreciated.
