Yes i have his fathers info, and the 1939 record, but i can't find his wife Mabel Kerr, her baptism record.  So the wedding certificate info would help me. I know she was born 10th September 1909. I checked the GRO but couldn't see it.

Yes its the information from the marriage certificate that i need. I have his siblings baptisms from the church in Carlisle, though Marcus record was not there just his six siblings. I have him on the census for 1911.

Managed a look at the 1939 record for Ethel Wheeler and Jane E, states Ethel Widowed but Jane E age 74 as Single. Will keep on looking.

I thank everyone who is trying hard to help us with information. We are ordering the certificate for 1921 as this is now our next lead. It is proving that it is her which is the problem. As you say I also couldn't find a marriage that would fit. But we will wait for the certificate and see what that brings, as the birth certificate of her first son and her marriage certificate bought surprises. Thank you very much to all that have replied.

Thank you very much for your reply. Yes she did marry twice and died in 2000 in Carlisle. On her first marriage certificate she did state she was 23 yrs old at the time of her marriage, which would fit better with the birth registration you mentioned for Hackney, as she said she was born with in the sound of The Bow Bells. So if this is her then she used her second name as her first name. We didn't know her fathers name was George Wheeler till we received her marriage certificate. But haven't been able to find any further information.

Can anybody help, Looking for any information on Margaret Pauline Wheeler, address given in 1944 as 74 Burdett Avenue, Westcliff on Sea. We know she was in Domestic service.  She has a child born in Blackpool in April 1944 but gives her address as the above. We know that she married in Carlisle, Cumberland in August 1944 and gives her father's name  as George Wheeler (deceased) Profession was Butcher. She said she was born on  17th October 1922 but we are unable to find any Birth registration or even any information on her father. She never spoke about her family.

I did manage to look on the 1939 Record for that address but it was a family by the surname Lugg, living there.
