Hi folks

I have a Baptism Records from Holly Mount Convent Tottington for my mother who was in this convent from 1928/1931. On the records it starts M/C born 9th January 1928 does any one have an idea what the M/C could stand for!!!! if the child was a male child it could have stood for male child but it was a female. Would appreciate any suggestions.

Any Pickfords from Manchester area. Lena Pickford was living at 37 The Crescent Longsight in 1928. The Crescent is now called Copthorne Gardens. WHERE DID SHE GO!!!!!!!! any suggestions as to where she went would be very much appreciated.

Walter Charles Sime born 1891 West Ham married Edith Morgan in 1918 ish. Walter moved from London area to Manchester. Walter had something to do with the manufacturing of optical parts.

Would any one have any relatives or descendant's who lived on the Ashton Road around 1900. I have a family of Pickfords causing me great problems!!!!!

Helena Pickford married Thomas Roberts 1899 I have found one child of the marriage born 1900 looking for further children and a connection to my Pickford.
