hi ,im looking for any info  on my great great granny elizabeth(eliza) liggett born 1840 c the montiaghs derrytagh co armagh.... her daughters (my g/granny)mary anne 1870 she married thomas mcshane ,ellen 1873 and jane 1865 ,jane married a patrick furphy ...address for the families where,church walk lurgan,francis st lurgan and thomas st lurgan.....

thank you so much,yes it is my mcshanes,both my great great granny and great granny where named mary anne  but called annie,my granny alice is missing ,but she may have been away that night. again thanks. deirdre. :)

Hi derdod, there is a family listed in the 1911 census for house no. 50 Merrion Street in the falls Belfast Antrim in the 1911 census on the National archives site with similar christian names . However not all the dates tie in but as you now many were misrecorded. Maybe worth a little investigation??

hi tony,i have searched in every county in ireland in the 1911 census and found nothing...i know of 2 address for them church walk LURGAN where my granny alice mc shane was born 1900 and francis st lurgan  where john patrick her brother was born1905 and their aunt ellen liggett was born1873 this i got from the church records in lurgan......CANT THINK WHERE THE FAMILY COULD HAVE BEEN ON CENSUS NIGHT???? D

im stuck in lurgan on thomas mcshane married to mary anne liggett..i found them 1900 the birth of my granny alice church st lurgan....tried to find where they where before this and nothing...my granny alice married into the kerr family of ceheney aghadowery..thomas kerr born1856 he married jane bell the ended up in belfast, janes father was william of mullamore of co derry....this side of the family have been hiding from me for about 2 yrs now ,any help would be great. deirdre
