Good heavens, I have only just caught up on this thread after being offline through illness for over a year. Well I am so pleased that I have found some family that is related to Mr Brachi !  The album was found by my nephew so I will go visit him in a few days and see what is in it and get back to you! Sorry for the delay.

We have cross wires. I copied the 'i wonder' quote to explain that 202 Howard Street is NOT a registry office but the clements family home.

I wonder how the met? Nellie was in Glasgow, although on marriage certs that might mean she had a suitcase there stayed for a few weeks prior and from the address of the marriage ( Howard St Glasgow) it seems it was a type of registry office.

The Clements family home was at 202 Howard Street. It was a huge house. Lots of generations living their.

An absolute treasure has turned up in Folkestone, Kent (but could have come from anywhere)

A hard back photo album - looks like jumanji book, all hand painted around the photo, given as a   present to Peter Charles Brachi on his 21 birthday from his cousins. The date being January 27th 1877 . I have attached the first page of a photo album.  Can anyone help find his roots so to speak?

Many thnaks

Chrissi
