Very interesting - thanks, Heywood.
One gets brought down all sorts of byways when recording gravestones!

Thanks KG,
I felt it might be that.
EDIT: I've just found A.H.R.H.S. = Associate of Honour of the Royal Horticultural Society.

Thanks again, Aghadowey and KGarrad.

Kilbarrack Cemetery, Sutton, Dublin 13. I've been recording it for the last three years. My current "avatar" is the old church in the graveyard.
He died in 1980, and I've seen his burial record.
I looked at his marriage cert  in Dublin in 1920, which is where I found his gardening background.

William Austin's grave has the letters above after his name.
I'm only recording his headstone, so I don't need any information on his family, life etc

He was was a gardener in Gosford Gardens, East Lothian, at the time of his marriage in Dublin, so maybe RHS is something like Royal Horticultural Society?
Could anyone hazard a guess at what the other letters might be? I'd be most grateful, as I'd like to group them properly in my transcription.

Maybe you could ask that this thread be moved to the CORK board - a local person might be prepared to have a look?

We all have our little problems, mine is screen shots. Daughter has shown me several times but can I do it, NO.

The last time someone told me how to do a screenshot, I printed the instructions on a piece of paper and took a photo of it with my phone. It's now permanently in my gallery.

Thanks, athacliath, it's sorted now.
I just had to change the setting from "save file" to "open in Firefox" as you suggested a few hours ago.

You're right, it's Adobe, not Apache!

Thank you, athacliath!
I found all those PDFs are in Downloads, whereas previously they used to open in another tab.
One of us must have changed something without noticing. Now back to fix that.
