Hi
I have a Christopher Heaps in my side of the family who had the following children
William, James,thomas, john, christopher, jane, henry, george and richard. All born at
Clitheroe, Yorkshire. My line was John.
I am not sure of any connection?

I will have to check out that site.
on 1851 cen. there was a Elijah 4 mth. but not on 1861 I suppose the baby died.
I have found them on 1881 census but not after that

I will check the site out
I am in Aust. & 10 years ago looked at a film from LDS. which was ordered from usa for me. it was hard to read and will cross check against this sight.
it seems that john heaps [ my direct line] left clitheroe and moved to rochdale area not sure of date i think around1840.

my ggg grandfather john heaps born in clitheroe, died in rochdale 1868
was married to grace heys
his father was christopher heaps who was born in clitheroe 1764 and died 1839. was married to alice briscow
 
anybody have any connections with the above, I have very little info on their children.

I only have info. from 1881 census, so no idea of children etc.
I only have ann heaps bapt. date from church records, 18/5/1823
St. marys at clitheroe.
