Lizzie and Archives, thank you so much for your replies and advice I will certainly look into them and see what I can find.  My line starts with Randal Forster 1535 Whitegate but have wills from William in Alvanley and also Frodsham so was unsure where to look with going so far back, so again thank you for your help.

Hello probably not the right place to post but my ancestors the Forsters lived in Alvanley and Frodsham in the 1500s and 1600s, I think the church in Alvanley wasnt built until about 1790 so is it likely they would have been buried at Frodsham I was thinking most likely St Laurence does anyone know if there is a list of burials anywhere. Thank you

Hello I have just seen this. I am directly descended from Randle 1536 Whitegate through the Forster line and I know what you mean about Sarah Bradburn if you would like to message me your email I can send you a file of what I have so far as I still live in Northwich which is not far from Whitegate.

My great grandfather was James Fallon who came to England before 1841 I think he came to Northwich in Cheshire and married Ellen Commons who was also irish in Northwich.  I believe James was born early 1820s.
