Further to our recent postings we have been checking the LDS records and have located two people whose marriage was registered in the 4th quarter of 1884.

The LDS record shows that individually they are recorded with the same Vol, & Page No. together with the same Flm No. but separate Image Nos.

For the marriage to be of one to the other is it necessary for them to recorded on the same Image No.?

Your help would be gratefully accepted

It seems that the death certificates of given members of our family will not give the information which we had hoped would lead to other links.

Thankyou again aghadowey.

Thank you all for the help given so far.
As a result of the suggestions which you have provided we accessed tha LDS Family Search records and we have confirmed quite a few listings as being probable members of our family.

Now that we have the Vol. No. and Page No. for these listings we wondered if we now ordered several death certificates based on these references would this be sufficient information for the GRO to issue certificates.

Would you be able to advise what information is available on an Irish Death Certificate for the period 1840-1920. Would it provide :- Name and surname of the deceased's Mother & Father, Where bor & age, Wher & when married and name of wife/husband, and Names & ages of deceased's children

Are we to understand that we cannot order certificates online and that they must be order by fax or post. We are from Australia

we thank you all for the assistance already given and we would be grateful if you could possibly help us further about the following:
we have accessed the Ireland Civil Registration Indexes 1845-1958 on the Family Search website and have located two births recorded in Apl-Jun 1911 which could be the twin daughters of our grandmother, Jane Elizabeth Flynn who were born 18th May 1911
the records indicate a common film no. (101074), a common vol no. (4), a common digital gs no. (4194693), and a common image no. (00105) but the registration district for Mary was Dungarvan while the registration district for Elizabeth J M was Waterford and the page no for Mary was 484 while the page no. for Elizabeth J M was 628

Hi aghadowey
we believe that Marianne & Henry Harper are Jane Flynn's grandparents and that her father James is buried with them at Dunmore East.
it is understood that her mother, who we believe was Bridget (nee Croker), is also buried at Dunmore East but with her second husband

again your help is much appreciated

we have just become aware that the April 1911 census is now available online and it has renewed our interest in trying to find out when our grand mother Jane Flynn (nee Harper) died and where she is buried. on the census she is recorded as living at 1 Gaol street, Waterford with her husband John Flynn three of their children and a niece Annie O'Rourke.
we know that John Flynn died in Oct 1918 during the Spanish flu pandemic and was buried with his father in the Catholic churchyard cemetery Fenor
other than the fact that shortly after the census Jane gave birth to twins in May 1911 we can find no further trace of her nor the grave of one of the twins who we believe died at birth
We would appreciate any help  that anyone can offer as to how we acquire this information.
Jane's father was James Harper who we believe is buried at St Andrews Dunmore East with his parents but again we have been unable to find where and when Jane's mother was buried
