Hello All again
Thanks for everything from everyone helping solve this.
Eleonore was 32 years old and unmarried when she arrived here in Brisbane with a daughter Annie Rosa Lohr who was 1 and a half years old. Who is the father of this child? Did Eleonore tell Anna that she was born in Dorphein Bayern so this could be put on the marriage certificate when she married Carl Leu in 1883? Where does the name ‘Amend” which is in the 1872 Will of Peter Faust come from?
There is nothing on Eleonore’s marriage certificate to say where she was born??
Regards

Hello Dave

Thanks for that information it is fantastic.
It appears that Eleonore ( I now have a mother and father name and that he is deceased)) was 32years old and not married when she came to Australia but she had a child Anna Rosina Lohr. Who was Anna’s father???
She (Eleonore) was recorded as a “spinster” , which is correct, on her marriage certificate to Peter Faust October in 1861.
Regards
Terry
