1901 RG13/253
1911RG14/PN1235

It is claimed they were married 17 years in 1911, but at the moment, I think they might have lied!

Sorry, and the one question I didn't answer: - where did I get the surname Reynolds from? From my Grandfather's birth certificate.
Many thanks

My apologies for not putting up all the information. I didn't want to ask for look ups specifically as - it was shown - I have done that before. Perhaps I should have posted in a different forum.
I have his birth certificate, and both of their death certificates. I have found them on census returns, but a marriage does not seem to have taken place. If so, where do I go from here in finding Ellen's birth records? Perhaps that should have been my question. The 1901 Census for Pine Street, Clerkenwell states Ellen was from Colchester, Essex.

London & Middlesex Lookup Requests / Stubbornly refusing to be found!

Hi. My paternal G GF and G GM seem to have spent their whole lives under the radar. After what seemed like an eternity I have confirmed details of GGF. James Henry Peters, often Henry, sometimes James, occasionally Harry - born 1869, London (Craven Street in 1871). But my GGM, Ellen Reynolds, often Minnie, was probably born in 1872 in Essex. But I cant confirm which one she is, nor can I find any record of their marriage. I have paid for a professional genealogist to search for her, but that came back empty. If they didnt get married is there no way of me ever finding her?
Any ideas please, I'm officially desperate now! Many Thanks, andy

Hi

I don't honestly know. The above info is all I still have, because there is no direct link to any part of my tree still, I have not invested in any time into this.

And there isnt as far as I can see. :(
Though I did find
Frederick Reynolds mar. Henrietta Halls, Colchester, Jan - Mar 1869
I think I may apply for Rosina Ellen M Reynolds BC. If the 'M' stands for Minnie, it might be the sort of clue that keeps me going.
That is unless anyone has another idea of where to go now?

Andy
