Jonathan,

Thanks for looking for this for me. I have been having abreak from research for a while so am having to think hard about this all. The Thomas Harvey I have worked on the railways and was married to Mary Ann - 1859 I think. Any sighting of a Christiana Mary Jane Harvey - born 1857/58 Lambeth?

Anyway thanks again -

Julie

Hi Barbara,
Yes I am but I have the wrong name - George Davies is who I am looking for not George Roberts - trying too many lines at one time.

I've been having a break from my search so this may set me going again.

Thanks,
Julie

Essex Completed Lookup Requests / Re: 1841 census for Brentwood? and Tollsbury? please
« on: Thursday 04 November 04 15:08 GMT (UK)  »
Hi Jenny,

Thanks for looking for me :).
I still haven't found Thomas Harvey born 1831 in Tollsbury Essex - I understand that there may be a Thomas who is head of a household in 1841 - could you find him for me - it may be that my Thomas had another name as well and only used the Thomas part after his Father died? :-\

Thomas and Amelia married and were living in London  by 1871.

I have had no joy finding Amelia Mary Ann Ward born 1839 Brentwood Essex. Could you possibly find her for me in 1841?

Any info gratefully received. Thanks so much for your help.

Hi Carol,

Thank you so much for looking for me.

Can't really fit this family as yet but I will keep looking - ages are just out (which isn't necessarily a problem as this was the case with lots of data) but the childrens names are unfamiliar. The daughter born in 1858 was a Christiana Harvey - can't find her birth as such so she could have been Ellen ??? ???. Will look into that!

Thanks for your help - do they have birth places on the 1861 census?

Thanks again :),
Jules

Could anyone find Thomas Harvey or Mary Ann Ward in 1841/51/61 census for me.

He was born 1831/2 in Tollsbury Essex but I can't appear find him in Essex so wondered :-\ if he was living in London for 1841 census onward.

Thomas Harvey is married to a Mary Ann( Born Mary Ann Ward in 1839, Brentwood Essex), and living in 39 North Street, Finsbury, London, by 1871.

Their first child is born in Lambeth, in 1858.
They may be in Lambeth for the 1861 census?

Thanks for any help :) .

Anglesey / can anyone help? Looking for William Roberts Amlwch?
« on: Thursday 21 October 04 14:17 BST (UK)  »
I'm trying to find Williams exact birth - no luck so far.

He was born I now think between April and November 1844 in Amlwch. His father was Edward Roberts and in1841 I think the family was living in Tan rallt, Amlwch?

If anyone could shed some light on this I would be really grateful.

Thanks,
Jules

Cathy,

Just to let you know that James was married twice so the James and Sarah you found for me I now think were mine.

Great!
Thanks again,

Hi there,

A longshot here but could anyone look for George Davies in the 1841 census for me.

He married in August 1841 and was living in what looks like? Baabzephon Street?? Doesn't look very clear!  Parish of Bermondsey in the county of Surrey?

His father was Robert Davies although he died before August 1841.

Ann Elizabeth Cole was George's wife  - her father was Richard Cole and she was resident in Maple Street when she married in August 1841.

Any help much appreciated as I'm not sure how to procede with the Davies line.

Thanks in anticipation,
Jules
