Thank You so much for your help.  I guess my next step is to try and confirm the parents and Aunts/Uncles if any of Richard who married Jane Vale.  There is confusion over whether his father is Richard or James.

Hi,
I am trying to find any information on the family of Richard Evans 1805-1872 England - NZ.
His parents were James Evans and Mercy.  I believe Mercys last name might be Shaw.  Richard had a sister Sarah born 1808.  I have the descendants of Richard and his wife Jane Vale but have a complete mess with his siblings, parents and families.
They all originated from England and some came to NZ and some stayed.
Possible siblings for Richard but not confirmed:
James William b29 Mar 1790
George 1794-1874 mar Ann Heffer
Samuel Edward 1800-1873 mar Margaret S. Evans
Henry 1802-bef 1851
Robert 1803-1862 mar Ann Wood.
Any help to confirm anything would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ange

Hi all,  I am researching my Donaghy tree and am hoping to get some help.  I'm looking for any information on John Donaghy who married Sarah McGinty.  They had a son John born in 1832.
John married Margaret Campbell in Australia in 1854/1856.
I believe they may of had another son Edward born 1838 but that is all the information I have.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.

I believe the family come from Argyll Scotland.  Children of John and Julia from oldest are: Mary, John, Duncan Hugh, Catherine, Hugh, Ewan, Agnes and there are more.  I know only that John snr was born possibly 1811, Married March 1835 and his father is Malcolm but have no more than that.

Thanks for your help.

Hi,
I am researching my McLean family and am hoping someone can help me.  I am looking for information on John McLean born 1811 in Scotland.  In March 1835 he married Julia McPherson who was also born in 1811.  They had 11 children.  Their son John moved to New Zealand with two of his brothers.  I believe John snr's father could be Malcolm.
If anyone could help me with any information it would be greatly appreciated.

I have printed out all your responses and have been reading them and they are so fascinating and full of great information.

I am trying to locate any info on the children of James William FIFE and Janet Mary TIPENE.

Their son John is my Husbands Grandfather but cannot find any info on the rest of their children.  I believe there is about 6 in total but believed they used nicknames so it is making it impossible for me to track down information.

Hi,

Sorry it has been so long but have had a bit going on.  Am still doing my research and very much appreciate the help you are giving me as it is a great help.  Anything else would be wonderful as I always seem to come against a brick wall.  I think I might be researching in the wrong areas :)
