My apologies, the first post was interpreted as unclear hence the second post. I do not believe that it was necessary to redirect readers to my earlier post and with respect I ask that you remove it to avoid any confusion. Thank you, Dan

Good afternoon all,
I am now looking for any information on the following please:
Cornelius Navin
B:1773 Ballynacurragh, Kilchreest, Loughrea, Galway, Ireland
D:1835 Ballynacurragh, Kilchreest, Loughrea, Galway, Ireland
Married Catherin Malone (De Bruijns)(Dutch ancestry ?)
B:1777 Ballynacurragh, Kilchreest, Loughrea, Galway, Ireland (?)
D:1840 Ballynacurragh, Kilchreest, Loughrea, Galway, Ireland
I have got back to Cornelius and Catherine who were my 4 X great grandparents and have a lot of information from then until present.
Happy to share any info that I have if anyone is looking for Navin / Nevin lineage ?
Thank you,
Dan

Kilkenny / Looking for assistance please ?
« on: Saturday 12 April 25 15:54 BST (UK)  »
Good afternoon all,
It seems that my previous post was not clear hence I am re-posting now, hopefully in a clearer way.
I am looking for information, particularly the ancestry, of John Shasby (1794 ?) and Margaret Wall. I have been unable to locate a John Shasby (or name variants) of that date (+/-) anywhere in Ireland so I wonder firstly if he was perhaps an immigrant ? I have not been able to find anything matching in the UK though.
Son Michael Shasby (Chasby / Shalsby) born (C) 1821 Kilkenny. I have siblings etc.
I do understand that records become scarce at this point and despite looking at the nli registers I am still unable to establish a great deal, if anything.
I have my direct lineage back to John and Margaret who were my 4XGreat Grandparents should anyone also be researching.
Thank you for taking the time to read, Dan

I did state the following "I am looking to any further family history relating to John and Margaret." So I apologise if that was in anyway confusing to anyone. Thank you for taking the time to read my post however. Dan

Kilkenny / Kilkenny Ancestry
« on: Monday 07 April 25 15:34 BST (UK)  »
Hi All, first time on here for a while but I'll do my best.
I have been able to trace one of my family lines back to Michael Shasby (Chasby / Shalsby) born (C) 1821 Kilkenny to John Shasby and Margaret Wall.
I believe records become scarce at this point however I am looking to any further family history relating to John and Margaret.
I have found other later Shasby individuals but not been able to tie them in to my line or locations.
Michael was my 3rd Great Grandfather and married Judith Scot (b1825) in St Canice's in 1846.
I would appreciate any assistance as I am at this point stuck.
Thank you, Dan
